Awardsle Mondial du Rosé® "Gold" and "Silver" medalsThe Union des Œnologues de France defines the following awards:
- Le Mondial du Rosé® "Gold" Medal
- Le Mondial du Rosé® "Silver" Medal
Awards RulesThe award scale adopted is an appraisal system that permits the rosé wines entered in the competition to be classed according to their intrinsic qualities.
The Union des OEnologues de France has defined the scale as follows :
- Le Mondial du Rosé® “Gold” medal
- Le Mondial du Rosé® “Silver” medal.
The best wines in a given category or from a given country may be awarded particular prizes. The awards are limited to 30% of the wines entered, in accordance with the regulations of the O.I.V. They will be attributed by the tasting panel to highly expressive wines that merit these distinctions. No award may be attributed in categories where less than three different wines have been submitted for competition.
The results will be announced at the prize-giving ceremony, and the winners will be later informed by post.
The Union des OEnologues de France will provide the winners with a document stating the type of award, the identity of the wine, the volume declared and the name and address of the producer of the winning wine. Self-sticking labels indicating the award attributed to the winning wines may be affixed to the bottle and will available from the Union des OEnologues de France; the number of stickers supplied will be determined by the production volume declared on the registration form. Any other reference on the bottle of the award obtained is not permitted. The Union des OEnologues de France reserves exclusive rights to control the use of the award for commercial purposes.
Unauthorised use and reproduction of the logo, awards and prizes is strictly forbidden. The results of the competition will be disseminated as widely as possible in the form of a guide and by other means, (television, radio, specialist magazines, gastronomy magazines, etc.).
